Founded in 1999, the
San Benito Stage Company is a non-profit performing arts association dedicated
to producing local musical and theatrical workshops, plays, and performances.
Its goal is to provide high-quality live entertainment for the entire
community of San Benito County, while developing performing arts skills
for its members.
The Board meets on the
3rd Tuesday of the month at the Chamber of Commerce office. Anyone interested in becoming more involved is
invited to attend. Meetings are usually at 6:30.

Amelia Souza-Hatcher, President
Amelia, her husband Steve and their three sons have been involved with San Benito Stage Company since 2001. She first participated as a backstage volunteer, assisting her young sons in The Sound of Music. Since then, she has volunteered behind the scenes in over 25 community theater productions in the areas of costuming, props, makeup and lobby support. She has been a director on the board for 2 years and served as vice-president in 2009. "I have personally seen how the performing arts benefit participants of all ages, especially children. I am proud to serve and to be a part of an organization that has so much to offer to the community."

Bryn Calderon
Bryn has been involved with the San Benito Stage Company for 4 years in which she has performed in several shows. She joined the Board of Directors this year and is excited about the upcoming shows and direction of the Stage Company. Bryn also works for the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce and loves community events and especially community theater.

Sean McEachin
Sean
is a very busy parent of four, and devoted husband. He dedicates
his time to volunteering throughout the community. He coaches
several sports for the Hollister Recreation department, supports the
local council for the BSA as a Cub master and Den leader, and is part
of the drama ministry with his church, First Presbyterian of Hollister.
As a 10 year military war veteran and an Eagle Scout himself, he is
dedicated to making the SBSC as good as it can be and then some.
Sean has worked on several sets designs and builds for the past year
and a half and looks forward to many years to come.
